hey uhh i haven’t posted any art in like six entire months which was real dumb and probably a product of me burning out for a while and then going back into pure digital drawings and just somehow neglecting to keep posting things here after that. probably for the best as some of those early drawings were, uh, pretty rough and i’ve got a better grasp of how to do this after half a year of it. anyway here’s some of that good ol’ Characters Posing In A Void, basically the only thing i’ve done for the past like two entire years. enjoy

finally, after months of waffling about and not drawing anything good, i have completed a drawing of my Frogsona. his name is GUN WIZARD FROG: RELOADED: WITH A VENGEANCE: DIRECTOR’S CUT: PLATINUM EDITION RERELEASE, but most people just call him GUN WIZARD FROG, or GWIZFROG for short.

this guy was originally a shitty doodle character i made for a discord server channel where people drew weird little characters and messed around. he yelled at a bunch of morons, pulled out a wand and blasted someone, got a massive chest wound, reached into his hat and pulled out a shotgun (courtesy of Google Images) that was also a wand, and blasted multiple people before being shot in the back by a squid and then the server shut down. now he’s back and deadlier than ever (but still with the same old shotgun (courtesy of Google Images.))

in the wake of a wave of coordinated surprise attacks that annihilated a near-omnipotent world-spanning secret organization, a senior battlemage asserts himself as the de facto leader of a handful of surviving members. considering how the other three surviving agents of said organization are his son, his daughter, and an assassin who owes him her life, there wasn’t really any contention over the leadership position anyway.

and here’s alvret again! minor tweaks to his design since last time because all my OCs are in a constant state of flux owing to my dumb scatterbrained ass. fun thing about designing wizard/sorceror/generally mage-y characters is that you can just slam dunk “practicality” into the dumpster and have them wear whatever the hell you can think of

despite her sheer height preventing her from being conventionally sneaky, girl on quest for vengeance masters a wide array of shadowy magical abilities to become one of history's deadliest assassins, winds up getting banished into a prison dimension, is freed by members of a far-reaching secret organization, and out of gratitude abandons her career of taking lives for money to join her saviors in a career of taking lives to prevent the literal end of the world

wow i actually finished tennebere before the end of january. i’m surprised. then again she isn’t as much of a pain in the ass to color as alcy, vaunn, or alvret, so maybe i shouldn’t be surprised. something nice and simple to cap off a rather productive month. this time she’s much closer to the “awkwardly gangly” body type i had in mind for her since her conception so that’s cool too

i did not expect drawing eloisse to cause me this much grief and here i am at 12:14AM two weeks after i started trying to draw her. it’s the damn pose’s fault i swear. i’d say a bit more but im like 3/4 of the way to falling asleep so here guys take a look at my dumb doodle goodnight

woo here we go again this is like the fourth time i’ve drawn alcy since i took on this artstyle. thinned her upper arms a bit and tweaked the colors and i’m more satisfied with her design as a whole now. anyway this is the first drawing i’ve finished in 2018 so [blows party horn] goodnight tumble
