Got into one of the foundational Chinese fandoms 30 years late and realized with some shock that fansites are not forever?

Even the older forums that still exist have wiped their pre-2010 content.

I think I'm starting to appreciate the physical media push.

Also, not mentally prepared for how big the Chinese History RPF tag on AO3 is.
