"Salisbury Steak? Blended in Worcestershire sauce and mustard powder? My, that does sound quite delectable!” She wiped the drool trailing down her chin with a gloved hand.

"Very well, I accept your challenge. Prepare yourself."

They were strangers, nothing more. The two held no connections to one another, but that was no reason to ignore a person in need. Someone who was in dire need of another, and she decided to be that person for this older male.

Hospitality was one of her specialties, considering that she works at the Lodging with her mother and father.  Having to be raised under the love of her parents, she knew how to show compassion and kindness to others.

Gently pulling away from the other, creating a decent gap between their bodies, she shook her head and smiled softly. “ I’m not. ” she guarantees that in the tone of her voice. Wanting to help the other as much as she can, not out of pity, but because there was nothing wrong with helping someone.

     ” If you want, I can take you back to our Inn. You can wash up, have a nice hot meal, and sleep in a nice cozy bed. It’ll be on me, how about it? ” and even he didn’t have the money for it, the teen was willing to take responsibility by giving up some of her allowance.

     ” You’ll be safe and you won’t have to worry about anything for a night or so. “

He would certainly be a fool to turn down a nice, warm bed and the promise of food... but wouldn't she be a bigger one for letting a bum stay at a fancy place like that? He'd expected to spend the night in an alleyway, curled up in the last dying patch of sunlight for warmth and awakening the second the sun started to rise. Leronde was just a pitstop, he had aspirations for the thick forest of Sapstrath. Monster poaching was a problem within the wood, and growing weary of swamps and cold, he'd decided it seemed a more worthwhile cause.

Ivar hadn't expected anyone to come upon him. Let alone someone his age. Though he was positive he didn't look it, slathered head to toe in dirt and looking as though he'd been to hell and back a few times over. She was patient, and kind, and he wanted nothing more than for the ships to come now so he could get away from it and return to what was familiar to him. He's ready to bolt, fly over the rooftops and meet his wyvern where it had chosen to roost, but he doesn't. The alley cat he'd been conversing with stops licking it's paw, just go with the girl and clean up! You smell worse than the fish do. The grizzled, battle-hardened animal smiles, as cats often do in their own strange way, and he sighs.

"I won't stay long," he says finally, pulling himself together and scrubbing at his eyes with a frustrated sigh. "Just tonight. I've... got a ship to catch in the morning."
