hello shurikit guy back again. i like shurikit and i have a lot of thoughts on them.

im specifically thinking about their narrative parallels right now and how different yet similar they are from one another. i find their definition of "home" to be strikingly different.

does medkit have a home? has anywhere been home to him, really? blackrock wasnt his home. i wouldnt say the church or lost temple is, either. is his apartment his home? what makes it home to him, if anything? is it sword? is home a person or a place?

to shuriken, what is home? is it his siblings? is it darkage? does he know himself? he longs to return to his clan and his home, and thats a feeling medkit will never understand. medkit cannot grasp the concept of having a home he wishes to return to.

shuriken longs to be with his clan again, and medkit wants nothing more than to cut ties with who he was in his youth. will medkit ever be able to understand shuriken, in that way? would shuriken ever understand medkit?

isnt it enough to want to understand?

do you think they worry theyd hurt each other? shuriken risks medkits safety because im sure theres inphernals who want him dead because of his vigilante work. im sure shuriken has enemies. medkit risks shurikens safety simply by knowing him, because blackrock would do anything to have their hands on him again, including hurting his loved ones - the risk is there. are their lives anything but risk, anyway?

shuriken can be "stupid" sometimes, sure, but its nothing more than an act if you really think about it. its easier to have others believe hes stupid than question who he could be beneath his surface. maybe medkit understands. i think they could click that way, anyhow.

who are they?

hello thoughts on shurikit (shuriken/medkit)

not as frequently shipped as it used to be a long while ago but a very interesting ship dynamically ,, they have potential

One time I was in a match and our Shuriken and Medkit both got stuck in the floor so our team was only three people actually doing anything and everyone in chat was like “Shurikit bonding time….” “Look guys they’re hanging out” “Shurikit floor time”

Anyways OUTSIDE of that. I like Medbox…. I like Medstaff…… Shuriken is KIND of like Boombox and Vinestaff combined into a weird little guy……… I can see this working out !!!

I think like. The Broker seems interested in Shuri because he has Skills, so by extension Medkit would get roped into trying to get Shuri to join……. But he’s like “Oh no this guy is so innocent I don’t want him to end up in a cult” so he’s like “Hey Shuriken you should totally join us!!!!!” While blinking in morse code like “RUN AWAY GET OUTTA HERE”

And Shuriken is seeing these mixed messages like “What the fuck is up with this guy???????????”
