I hate that the writers leaned into the joke that “Solas fucks up all the time with his stupid plans, and everything is his fault.” They didn't dare make him seem clever. They wanted him to come across as incompetent so that the player never felt the need to question him on his motivations. There was never a point in Veilguard that made you think, shit, maybe Solas is right? Or at least has a point? Let's explore that!
The writers shoved it down our throats that Solas is a big, fat, stupid liar who can't do anything right and is actually not clever at all because he can be tricked by the most pathetic trick to ever trick! Switch the dagger for a fake one!? What is this Indiana fucking Jones!? Could they not come up with something more interesting? Predictable and BORING. You're telling me the Dread Wolf didn't notice!? And that Rook, of all people, was his match? Like being outsmarted by a FUCKING ROCK.
5 more minutes, mama!
Arguing with my spawn about whether or not I watch too many cooking competitions as I sit here and pick through my dollar store trail mix to create the "perfect bite"
Going to my mother’s hometown is giving me wonders of inspiration for MCB!Kampung AU….
Happy birthday to the character that is near and dear to my heard. Here is to another year of Lamb.
