Vee was in her room, coming up with trivia questions for the new season of her show, when the lights flickered violently.

She didn't think much of it. Going back to writing down ideas, she tapped the pen against the table.

The ceiling creaked it's familiar symphony as Vee cracked her knuckles. Suddenly, the sound of glass breaking shattered through the peaceful silence.

Gardenview plunged into darkness.

"What?"

Vee stood up from her desk and hurried into the hall.

"Is anyone there?"

Vee sat quietly, staring off.

"After nearly two decades...they're shutting down Gardenview..."

[theveeshow]

"Veronica?"

Vee peered at her handler.

"About the Gardenview shutdown...is it really happening?"

"...Okay. Thanks, anyways."

The halls of Gardenview were silent.

But if you listened closely, you could hear...growling.

It only took a week after the announcement of shutting down Gardenview for them to start clearing out the rooms.

First, they got rid of the parking garage.

Then, it was the storage closets.

And then, it was Pebble's room.

"Bork..."
