Streets were beautiful . Different kinds of groups came out to fight against white supremacy and their leader who is in the White House . Fun fact, we outnumbered them and they left way earlier than they were supposed to .✊🏼 In 1925, the KKK marched through DC. Several years later, white supremacists are STILL rallying and emboldened by the racially divisive policies of this administration. But yesterday we did not let them stay 🙌🏼 I could not help but just feel outrage as I was facing them myself infront of the White House where their leaders are at . Don’t tell me that there is nothing to be fighting about in 2018 . There is clearly so much work we need to get done . White supremacy is still existing.. Nazis are being allowed to rally infront of the white house because of their freedom of speech but God forbid the NFL players kneel . Cops protect THE NAZIS more than us (even tho they were the ones who caused the violence in Charlottesville and many other times in the past). The leader of this nation is a white supremacist who refers to these Nazis as “fine people.” And this is just one of the many serious issues in this country . We can’t just sit back , watch , and not take action. There were over 20 cops at the White House keeping us separated , super barricaded, preparing for what happened at Charlottesville to happen again. So were news outlets and majority of protestors . Also, there were more black cops than white cops ... nice lol we know they did that on purpose . 🙄 If you’re not fighting, what are you doing... “If you’re not outraged, you’re not paying attention” - Heather Heyers #RIP 😿 Be the change you want to see! #CharlottesvilleAnniversary #ShutItDownDC #UnitedAgainstHate #TrumpPenceMUSTGo #NoFascistUSA (at Washington, District of Columbia)
