Hello Homestuck babs c:
So, I was the Dave Strider handing out candy and I went to the photoshoot on Friday. I can honestly say I think this group of Homestucks were the worst I’ve dealt with in the 10 conventions that I’ve gone to.
While I really don’t have much of a problem with people playing spin the bottle at conventions, i honestly don’t like what i saw of it this weekend. i didn’t stick around to see more, so i could be wrong. but i heard quite abit about it from other people. honestly, if you guys want to play it maybe try to find a more secluded place next time instead of in a corner where people can see and hear you. theres kids there and they get to see this stuff.
sunday afternoon i ended up yelling at a good size of Homestuck cosplayers who were walking away from the corner and it was trashed. i made them all clean it up and helped them. I know it’s hard to remember to take care of things sometimes, but you’re in a big place and theres trashcans everywhere around you. please try to be a bit more respectful of the convention centers that holds these for us. it’s not their jobs to pick up after us when we know how to do it ourselves. (dont be cocky and say it is, you know what i mean o-o)
Homestuck has and probably always will be my favorite fandom because it’s big and everyones a family. But I’ve been disappointed in the people around me that make the people on the outside cringe. I want to remain in this fandom but it’s getting old having to tell people to be respectful of others around them.
