Zurich has got to be one of the most ravishing synthpop songs to arrive this year. It comes from exciting Scottish band Shvllows, an obvious project to watch. Zurich is uplifting and atmospheric, a must for fans of St. Lucia, The Wombats, The 1975, and so many other trusted fine purveyors of 80′s evoking electronic pop and synthrock. The song explores anxiety and self doubt plus the extreme lengths to which people go to overcome them, but it instills in us much hope with its comforting message that we are never truly alone. Zurich’s video is equally vibrant and colorful. The single is out now on iTunes.
