I think my favorite part of listening to SHWEP is the way the highly qualified, specialist academics who guest on the pod react to Earl's classic signoff, "stay esoteric." Ending an episode with the sound of an ivy league school's head of comparative religion giggling himself silly while your outro music plays? Fantastic.

The SHWEP episode with Sara Rappe was amazing. I also ordered her translation of Damascius' Problems and Solutions Concerning First Principles.

As I continue to work with emanant void magick there is increasingly a sense of what I can only describe as reading the structure.

When I meditate upon its interrelations it feels like reading a text though I am not reading any language. I call up its form and the meanings of the paths and "read" information from it.

I recall something like this coming up in the SHWEP (https://shwep.net/) podcast, but I can't recall where it came up exactly. Who it was that first suggested that non-texts could be "read" as esoteric sources.

Now that I am experiencing this I can say it really is an apt metaphor.
