He’d been yelled at before, for eating the last hot pocket, but now he could just imagine what it was going to sound like. He moved a few things aside in the deep freezer, before looking over to Clint, one brow raising. “How bad do you think it’s going to be when he can’t find them, and how much yelling do you think we’ll have to endure, before we give in and tell him that we actually didn’t eat them?”

He was sure that he was acting like a child, but he couldn’t help himself. He admired all of the Avengers; as soon as he’d been told what they did, he looked into the videos of them himself. Captain America was back, he was back and he was fighting with this elite group of heroes. And, now, Sam was fighting with that elite group, too. Riley just never thought he’d be face-to-face with one of those heroes. “Like, shit, man, with aim like yours, it’s no wonder they made you an Avenger...! You got a secret, or is it just somethin’ you were born with?” Just breathe, Riley. He’s a normal guy... who happens to have perfect aim and gets to work with Captain America on the regular.
