How i think the new characters from Changing Skies looks like just by name!!
I think moonpaw will be a nightsun kit bc of the name, she's reminding me a lot of shadowsight already, i hope she becomes like some sort of starclan messenger after the moonpool is destroyed, she's like a mooncar herself

okay, i am still absolutely open to drawing shyfrost, but the “unreleased characters” section of the wiki just got WAYY more interesting with the release of the stormclan’s folly excerpt, so i’m curious if the results for the U poll will change and want to take a new poll 👀 too many to fit in one poll so i’m just including the ones that intrigued me the most in the chapters

My wishes, hopes, theories and thoughts on Moonpaw
My theory for Moonpaw is that the increasingly sinister voice she's hearing is Scourge. It would help her case be more unique and interesting if she has a unique connection with a spirit unrelated to starclan or the dark forest. I'm pretty sure she's gonna be a NightSun kit too, so she would have the genetic connection. Additionally, the clans are probably going to move again with twolegs destroying their territory, it would open an opportunity for a spin on the clan's journey, when it's the starclan that has troubles following the living cats, because there's a rouge hell blocking their way. After all, we know that there are different afterlives and cats can travel from one to another. In that case a cat with a connection to said rouge hell would be crucial for starclan to pass. The "visions" she thinks she has could be her traveling to said rouge hell and not understanding what is going on. Then eventually she would meet Scourge, and it could go two ways. Either he does the generic revenge on the clans and ruining Moonpaws life, or more interesting to me, turns out he didn't even have any evil intentions, he just found out he had a connection to a clan cat and decided to use it, since he had nothing better to do, he's in hell after all. All he does in the books is in order to stay in power, give safety and prosperity to his clan or simply survive. He's dead, he has no power and there is no bloodclan anymore, so I don't think he would want revenge on all the clans, since he only really hated tigerstar and that guy is double dead now, killed by Firestar so even that grudge is evened out now. He would still cause Moonpaw problems, cause he's a terrible person who gives equally bad advice, but probably still helpful sometimes. Another cool thing could be Shyfrost, or at that point, Shypaw, being Moonpaws sibling and a Medicine cat apprentice. Besides the obvious benefit of saving as from a fourth thunderclan med cat app pov, we haven't really had relevant siblings that aren't resentful for a while, so it would be nice to see something at least mostly wholesome. They could be one of the only ones believing Moonpaw, since of course she'll be dismissed, it's warrior cats. As for Moonpaw's personality, I hope she'll be energetic, crafty, good at creative problem solving, troublesome, maybe a bit cold/gruff/blunt, adventurous and a daydreamer. The voice may make her somewhat aggressive or apathetic as well. For how I wish she could be introduced with all of the above being true: As a kit, she sneaks out of camp, Shykit staying behind because of the rules, but promising not to tell. She has fun exploring but ventures near the skyclan border and suddenly runs into a dog (increased twoleg activity before they start building stuff). She's about to be killed, when she hears a voice in her head instructing her what to do and how to escape. When she's safe thunderclan warriors arrive, having been alerted by Shykit. Moonkit is scolded and punished by delaying her apprenticeship, no one believes her when she tell them about the voice, thinking she's just trying to get away from consequences and tell her she should be thankful to the warriors who actually rescued her from the dog. When she confronts Shykit, the other apologises for getting her in trouble, but says that when Moonkit was away, they had a terrible nightmare of a dog attacking her, and were so scared that their sister would get hurt that they told the adults. Moonkit forgives them, and the dream is interpreted as a vision from starclan by the clan, due to which they are invited to be a med apprentice. Moonkit is happy for their sibling but frustrated by her punishment, and the voice returns, saying that now that her sibling will be ahead, they won't care for Moonkit anymore. She tries to ignore it, because Shykit would never leave her behind, right?

mixing it up for U because no canon cats have U names, so going with cats listed on the wiki’s Unreleased characters page instead! these two were named by the winners of a recent fandom contest and will be featured in upcoming books, but don’t have canon designs listed anywhere yet. so for whoever wins this one, i’ll just be going off of what they look like in my head lmao
tigerstar 1/tigerclawstar won for T in what was easily our biggest voting pool yet (almost 300 votes!), with 57 votes between here and instagram! he’s our first villain to win so he’ll be a fun change of pace to draw, even though he’s a first arc cat
