Kara tagged me in a thing and i'm bored so here goes. not gonna tag anyone else though cause everyone i know who'd do it she already tagged haha.

1. What is one of your favorite jokes?

Rene Descartes walked into a bar. The bartender said, "Do you want a beer?" Rene said "....I think not" - and disappeared!!

2. Which Hogwarts house do you feel that you belong in?

Ravenclaw!!! I am super simplistic in my view of hogwarts houses: Gryffindor = jocks, Ravenclaw = nerds, Hufflepuff = student council types, Slytherin = business majors? I guess? anyway yeah Ravenclaw all the way.

3. What is a view of yours that has changed dramatically in the past 10 years? How did it change and why?

ooh, can i do two?

A) religion! about 10 years ago is when i started questioning whether I *really* wanted to be Orthodox Jewish, and then I was Wiccan for awhile, and then I started going to church, and now I'm just sort of vaguely spiritual and do whatever religious stuff I can get my hands on without joining an actual religion. (still very culturally jewish though)

B) my sexuality! i was straight 10 years ago and now i'm pansexual/maybe a lesbian lately? still not 100% sure haha.

4. What components of your life make you the most happy?

my friends <3

5. When is a time that kindness has been given to you and you were surprised?

when a guy i don't know so well at work conspired with our other friends to buy me a surprise birthday cake :)

6. Tell me about a time when you felt supremely good about yourself.

Probably any time when i'm in yoga class. <3 

7. If you were cursed so that vampires followed you about and killed those closest to you, what would you do?

KILL THEIR FACES.

8. Given the choice between pursuing your passion but never seeing your family again and never pursuing something you’re passionate about but always being close with your family, which would you chose?

Hmm. This is tricky because the only thing I'm really passionate about in life is people. So I guess if this were like... my passion in work or something... I would definitely choose my family. But if it were like choosing between a bf/gf and my family? A lot harder! It'd depend on the sitch.

9. What is one of the most amazing places you’ve been?

Death Valley in March. God I loved that trip. I would kill to go back for longer than 4 days.

10. What is the thing you’re best at making?

Um... can I say friends? haha that is a strength of mine. But for reals.... i don't know. Cakes? Birthday cards? Probably one of those two.

11. Given the opportunity of rebirth, what would you most like to be reborn as, given the choice?

If limited to existant things, a human. If not.... hm. Some sort of ghost or flying spirit thing as long as I can still interact with the physical world.

any of the days from the roadtrip my dad, sister and i took to san francisco when i was in middle school

korean, arabic, swedish, american and chinese sign, spanish, german, gullah, cantonese, russian, latin...uh...omg this list is getting long i'm gonna stop

5. What’s one thing you regret (if anything)?

i regret letting myself think i had a chance with the girl i used to be in love with

not from drinking alcohol, but i did get vertigo so bad once that i lost consciousness for a couple seconds

waldo (again) (for the fourth time)

i love independence day and thanksgiving, the first because fireworks and it's very exciting!! and the second because i get to eat good food and spend time with my family

i don't know! it depends on what i get for my birthday

Ok, ok, one more! The presidential election is obviously very important to you and rightfully so! I was wondering what was the first political issue that /REALLY/ got you into turning an eye towards the state of things in the US!

i don't really think there was one particular issue that got me thinking about politics. i guess it was mostly the shitstorm that was president bush? and all the dumbass shit that was happening at that time.

ii doooooooon't knoooooow there are so many fictional universes umm??? maybe inception? i think the idea of dream building is really phenomenal, even though given the canon it doesn't seem like it's very readily accessible or even necessarily known about by the common people.
