There had hardly ever been a time in Thaddeus’s life that he hadn’t believed in magic. Since that winter night of the car crash, he’s BELIEVED. But no one had ever believed him, believed in him. Not until now. Now he’s free and Mister Mind, strange creature he is, has given him what he’d sought for so long again. Magic. 

It’s not the same as the last time he was at the Rock of Eternity but the place never truly changes. Thaddeus has been expecting him. The champion. The CHILD. And he doesn’t need to turn to know who’s entered the temple. A child with the power of a god. Undeserving and irresponsible.
