HISTORY;

growing up in the Sinnoh region, Freddy wanted what every kid his age wanted; to become a trainer && explore the world. unfortunately, life had other plans. sustaining his disability at a young age && losing his parents, Freddy was moved to Ryme City, put into the foster care system && now growing amongst various pokemon.

Freddy suffers the mistreatment of a couple of bullies that chase him && torment him almost daily. it’s during one of their attempts to corner Freddy that a Riolu leaps into the scene, scaring them off. a friendship is formed between the pair as Freddy starts to go through his day to day life with his new partner.

i won’t stand idly by while the movie has freddy tell darla not to tell anyone about billy to keep the family safe but when face to face with the villain he cracks and tells him. i jUST WON’T! FREDDY WOULDN’T DO THAT! HE’D KEEP HIS FAMILY SAFE AS LONG AS HE COULD!

100% agree. I’ve been sitting on headcanons on that scene for ages. I’m hoping there’s a deleted scene that’ll fill gaps. I even had a thread going with a Thad that explored more into what really went down, man, screw the director for that one particular bit of the movie.
