Prepare for Sweden! (1)
Hej, Tumblr and #temanisa! Long time no see! I planned to make movies and/or write my experience living in Korea and Sweden years ago, and here I am. Trying to encourage myself, fighting my laziness. Mianhaee~ *deepbow *90degreebow
The last time (before posting the last five items) I used my username and password for this account was around late-2017. It was when I plan to apply for the Swedish Institute Scholarship (SI). Somewhere, far-far-away from my city, Malang, Indonesia.
I send a DM to someone who, at that time, was a student in KTH. She posted a wall telling her experience sending some stuff from Indonesia to Sweden, including her eyeglasses. As far as I remember, she told the reader that she broke one she brought to Sweden and forgot to bring a spare. The price to buy a new one was very costly (currency-based) even better to ask her relative in Indonesia to send her eyeglasses and other stuff from home. It’s cheaper! Well, she did reply to me, but I guess it was too late. I realize she rarely seemed to open her Tumblr (too), hahaha. And I think that I just got a reject from the SI around that time period as well :v. (Well, they did reduce the number of awardees by about half than usual. Only did seven people got the grant that year). Things were not working so well around that time, I guess. Yet, I recovered relatively fast by getting flooded by tasks in my job. I got a vital project for my company and another big project following up.
On the other hand, my parents were not that satisfied with that job. They give me an ultimatum whether to stop dreaming (pursuing higher edu abroad), continue my study in Indonesia, or get a more stable-reliable job. But I need to finish my 'debt'!(let me tell you in another post :p)
If I can't get funding for study abroad, asking my parents to pay for my tuition fee to study at ITB will be the only option left for me. Well, I did plan to look for another job, just in case that's my 'way', right? But it was also my very first experience applying for a job as an experienced. And I didn't prepare myself for the fullest. The wrong answers in the interviews were the highlight, hahaha. A bit complicated, huh? Yes, it is! Hahaha
Well, I made up my mind. This year will be my last time trying to get a scholarship. I prepare for LPDP and the SI. So, How was it? FYI, I got rejected by LPDP for the first time in 2016 (?) *forget
