Yum-Yum is my soul cat. She is a Siamese Snowshoe rescue kitty from @salemanimalrescueleague in New Hampshire. I adopted her right before I moved to Connecticut from Massachusetts in 2006 she was approximately 1 year old and later she became very ill. Numerous vets told me to PTS she had Bartonella +4, stomatitis and infection throughout her body. Well the universe lined up a course of events that led me to a talented vet who saved her life after multiple surgeries, bone graphs, months and months of pulsing medications and Chinese herbs. She never grew much so she looks a lot like a young kitten lol. Today my bestie is 13 years old and will turn 14 on Valentine’s Day. She has helped me through my own healing journey and has gone on a few more of her own. Animals are not only resilient and loving but can provide healing to the soul. I read all the books time and again and listened to every book on audio over and over.
