High in the Appalachian Mountains, Johnny and I produced 12 relaxing, acoustic songs. Some of them are covers, but most are simply original jams recorded by campfires and a river.

The stage was Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina. Johnny invited a few people to enjoy his family’s lake house, and we did just that. The first night with Johnny, Luke, and I was very quiet. Acoustic guitars and sing-song melodies were recorded to the gentle hum of crickets. Nick arrives the next morning, and we immediately get to the studio for some songs led by a powerful electric guitar. A storm brought on some serious feelings, followed by a peaceful morning. Enjoy the relaxing feeling of being at the Lake with us; it’s not perfect, but it is real.

This entire collection was recorded while Johnny and I were staying in a cabin in the Appalachian Mountains. The songs are acoustic, and provide a serene feeling; we believe this is because of the peaceful locations in which the songs were recorded. The sounds of a campfire, a river, and raw nature can be enjoyed throughout the songs.
We kind of slacked on pictures for this trip. There are some good ones; for example: the wild ponies of the Grayson Highlands, the beautiful peaks of the Appalachian Mountains, and other breathtaking views we experienced during our trip. It's not perfect, but it is real.
Enjoy.
So, what’s the deal?
So, this is pretty much how we’ll be doing this: we will travel somewhere, make music, take pictures, have adventures, and then share them with you all in one downloadable package, with a name that corresponds with our vacation location. The pictures are intended to compliment the music; to spark your imagination, perhaps. Also, this is all free, of course. As the blog develops, we may add in other pieces, but for now just look out for pictures and music.
Si: do you like changelings?alsoyoushouldbuildmesomenightvisiongoggles
"Well I certainly don’t not like them. They’re pretty much like any other pony to me"
Nick Nark smiled lightly at the added remark.
"Pfft Night vision goggles are too easy to build, I have like 4 pairs around the Emporium"
