Translation:

Renown American artists as singer Usher Raymond, the musician and producer Smokey Robinson, actor Kalpen Suresh Modi, the producer of Broadway Margo Lion, the violinist Joshua Bell, the singer and actor John Lloyd Young, among others, shared with children of school primary Miguel Fernández Roig, located at the corner of Infanta and Espada in the municipality of Centro Habana. The visit falls within the programme of the Presidential Committee for arts and humanities.

Usher sang La Guantanamera and Cuba how beautiful is Cuba with the chilgren, excited about exchanging with these musicians, actors and foreign producers.

Artists entered classrooms to talk directly to children and teachers from first to third grade, as well as to witness the operation of the system of education of the island.

Joshua Bell, considered one of the best talents in international and holder of a 1713 Stradivarius violin, played a fragment of a work of the famous German composer, Johan Sebastian Bash.

After their visit to the school, the delegation departed for the Finca Vigia Museum, former residence of the Nobel Prize in literature, Ernest Hemingway. Tomorrow is expected to attend the fine arts museum and hold an exchange with the Cuban Institute of music executives.

The President's Committee on the arts and the Humanities of U.S. is composed by White House advisers who visit Cuba to strengthen cultural relations between the two countries.
