Wooden fence
wooden fence: a favorite memory
It’s hard to choose only one, but let’s try.
One of my most fav memories is connected to my real brother. He is older than me, and he’s always had these older friends I was crushing on. So, one day I see my brother with his friends, because he returned home from his uni for a weekend, and... He kissed me on the cheeks and just talked me. I was ALLOWED TO JOIN THE GROUP OF THESE ‘ADULT’ PEOPLE and I felt so special. Like, LOOK I’M NOT A BABBY ANYMORE MY BROTHER IS KISSING ME IN FRONT OF HIS FRIENDS HOW DOPE IS THAT.
Is it pokémon time? It’s pokémon time!
It’s also things-that-are-on-the-same-pages-as-pokémon-time.

Seer Of Sevenwaters is actually one of my favorite Sevenwaters books now, but I don’t really like that Sibeal fell in love and got married instead of becoming a Druid. It felt so repetitive after four books of the Sevenwaters women falling in love and marrying their love interests. I was ready for a change in pattern so I was disappointed when it was the same old thing all over again.
But on the other hand, I do love Felix and how he’s not the typical male hero/love interest. And his and Sibeal’s love story is compelling and poignant to me (the love epiphany and their big moment of finally getting together is one of my favorites in the series). Sibeal really was torn between her growing love for Felix and her vocation and it was so poignant to see her struggle with that. And I love how Ciaran tells Sibeal that her connection to and love for the Gods won’t fade away if she chooses not to be a Druid, because it’s a beautiful message. You can live a happy and faithful life no matter what path you choose.
