My brother is very adamant in his stance that any and all Christmas celebrating should be no sooner than the day after Thanksgiving.
So, like the kind and loving sister I am, I put on Christmas music right before I leave in the hopes that as he comes home from work he is bombarded by the noises of Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You
I'm a fantastic sister, I know.
So fun fact:
When i was a kid, I'm talking somewhere between ages 5 and 7, I, like most other kids, played Pokemon ALL. THE. TIME.
my immediate older (the two that are only 1 and 2 years older, rather than the 6-8 years the other 5 are) siblings had me convinced that in a couple years, I would get to go on a legit Pokemon adventure in real life.
For a full 2 years, they had me wholeheartedly believing that scientists were in labs working on making Pokemon real living beings. I was convinced by them that they had an issue making them, that issue being that any time they tried to create a Pidgey or a Charmander or any others, it would come out as a Rhyhorn.
It has been 16 years and i am still heartbroken that this was a false hope.
