Alternate History plot, based on a dream/nightmare I had;
What if America lost the American Revolution? What if The British Empire ceased to fall and continued to prosper, making ties with Russia and having the USA and Canada as their main colonies? With the people thinking that Britain is their only hope of being able to live, completely dependant upon the Empire. This is the set stage;
PLOTS (can be romantic, platonic or both)
A is the crown prince/ss of the Empire, and B is the child of a leader of a country that almost overthrew the hold of Britain, but with a sneak attack ultimately failed. To keep the peace, A and B must marry each other.
A is a part of/ the leader of a rebel faction B is a solider for the Empire guarding an important base. A is caught by B, and A tries to convince B to join them or B tries to do the same to them. /OR/ A takes B hostage back to base and forces B to work with them, whether B wants to, or not.
Because of the Empire, A and B were siblings/twins who were separated at birth, and later on, they meet each other in the Rebel Factions and discover the long lost sibling they never knew they had/lost and thought to be dead.
A is the child of a shop keeper/bartender/etc who has now inherited the family business, while they disagree with the Empire, are too afraid to go against their parents wishes even if their parents aren’t alive. Enter, B, who was A’s childhood best friend, who A thought due to making too much of a stink had been dealt with, but are instead a part of the rebel faction.
After the British-Russian alliance fell through and after many years of peace talks, the world is beginning to settle down once more. A and B live in separate settlements that have now been freed after the war, but old grudges are still around and kicking. However, the two meet and start to form a close bond, regardless of what their peers think.
