NaNo update:
Yesterday, I wrote 4,060 words. 1,102 of those were during a 30-minute sprint. At a total of 14,152 words, this puts me 5,848 words behind par.
The story still is kind of meandering confusedly along (I really need to figure out what closes out the plot of the childhood years story), but I feel pleased by the progress, and have harvested several bountiful NaNoisms from the resulting mess. Such as:
Ridley was home and home was warm and comfortable and had all his fiblings all around him, playing and romping and calling eto each other.
millions of ears ago
A note to myself that reads “look up bird mucus”
And this entire exchange:
"Smus!" Ridley yelled.
She looked back at him. "It's thr tuth."
"Is that so," said Tehees.
