“What in the hell are you wearing?”
“How does my ass look from where you’re standing?”
“Okay but can someone can get the Angels casting director on the phone? I’m too busy frying my phone with selfies!!!”
“So. Much. Straight. Dick. Blowing. Up. My. Phone!!!!”
The moment Shane awoke that morning he felt something different. There was an extra lightness in his body that he couldn’t quite explain in his sleep-hazed mind. When he rolled over to look for his phone to check what time it was, he ended up rolling right out of bed onto the floor. “Ouch--” he muttered, and the voice that came out threw him. He reached up to touch his throat with his hand and noticed that his wrists looked thinner. He immediately sat up on his knees and ran his hands down his entire body as he finally came to and realized, in disbelief, what was happening.
He rushed to stand and run over to the mirror, gazing at the thin white woman who stared back at him. She had platinum blonde hair, her face was smaller and more angular, her arms thin and her breasts small but very much there--he could feel them under the weight of his hands just in case he needed any more evidence. “Huh,” was what came out of her as she turned around to try to catch a peak at her back side. Her butt was still small and it filled her with a weird sense of satisfaction to know that her lack of padding wasn’t doing injustice to what she would have looked like as a biological female.
She felt kind of caught in between thoughts of, ‘This is so freaky,’ and a wondrous, ‘So this is what I’d look like as a biological woman.’
Well, she figured she couldn’t really leave the room naked, as much as she wanted to all of a sudden just to prove some kind of gender equality point. Maybe she’d save that for later; first she needed to adjust and figure out what was going on, hopefully find somebody to talk to about this.
Getting dressed wasn’t too challenging. She did have Courtney’s bras, but she didn’t feel the need to bother. In fact, she felt like she’d still need padding to fill them up even now. When she found that her shorts were a bit big on her, she tossed them aside. Going out in her boy underwear felt weird so she stripped off of those, taking a moment to check herself out--this was where she started getting a little more freaked out as she saw herself in her full naked glory without her penis where it was supposed to have been--and grabbing one of Courtney’s underwear to cover up before she could get any more weirded out.
She wanted to go for a plain T-shirt look, but at the last moment decided she wanted to look pretty for her first appearance like this and instead picked out a pink dress that she hadn’t worn yet, hoping that it still fit her and pleased when she realized that with the right padding, it did. (It was quite amusing how she still needed to stuff her bra.)
Courtney stepped out of her room and headed down to one of the lounges in search for other people, wondering that she couldn’t be the only one going through these sudden changes. As soon as she walked out into the lounge and saw actual people out there, she spoke her famous opening line from Drag Race and somehow it felt like even more of a joke now. “...Is this America’s Next Top Model?”
Ivy really needed a smoke after waking up that morning as a woman. She had freaked out when she saw it and was now trying to think of everything that could have happened to lead to his transformation. She never believed in magic or curses until then. But as her eyes watched woman after woman walk by, she realized that something had happened to the entire hotel. Everyone was a woman and people all over were wondering why.
She stood outside the hotel, pulling one of her cigarettes out of the carton. This all felt too real to be a hellish dream. She placed cigarette between her lips and lit it. As she took a drag from it, she still felt like even that might not calm her nerves. She continued to watch as people went by. Maybe someone would talk to her and she could share her concerns about this whole ordeal.
Justin hadn’t wanted to show his face in the hotel after everything that had gone down with both Jinkx and Sharon. It was all a gigantic shitshow the more he thought about it and he decided hiding out for a few days was a good idea. It didn’t keep the cameramen and producers from harassing him all day though. They were constantly knocking at his door, asking him to come out and talk to people. They needed to get some good shots. Not only did they say it was uncharacteristic of Alaska to be a shut in (which Justin couldn’t help but agree with), but he had also signed a contract. So after days of throwing himself a little pitying party, he finally decided to leave his room for somewhere else in the hotel.
He decided that the pool was as good a place as any to show his face. He brought his things with him, a shitty tabloid magazine that he’d read at least a hundred times during his stay and a sketchbook he kept hidden beneath his bed. He planned on using the time to cut outfits from the magazine and put together looks with all of the separate clothes. It was something to pass the time while he wallowed some more. When he reached the pool, he set himself up with his things, trying his best to block out the world and those around him.
⪭-- Having a cold in the summer was the absolute worst, they’d decided. There was a certain misery to it that didn't seem to ever be there when they got sick in literally any other season. The heat only exacerbated the way their body felt too hot, but not feverish to warrant them being alarmed. It was just a constant string of sweat that clung to their extremities and made them feel immensley uncomfortable. That had been what had sparked the idea that tea was a wonderful idea. Their throat was sore, and in any other season they'd have had some already. Summer had just seemed too hot, but if they were going to sit in this hell throughout all of it, then they were going to enjoy it, damn it.
In their sleep addled brain, it made sense that they would just go down into one of the dining rooms for tea. Of course they wouldn't have it brought to them-- they were feeling far too cooped up in their room alone, anyway. Illness tended to make them sequester themself and it was never a fun time. The bar didn't make sense, though. There would be too much of a self imposed implication to have a drink, and they really weren't in the mood for that. No, they just wanted someone to come bring them tea and listen to the rasp of their throat with pity. They were a needy sick and needed attention. It was only right that they got some.
Their breath came out in a soft wheeze after they'd ordered tea, settling into a corner where it looked like they'd be within view of the door, but where they were also separated enough to not immediately vie for attention. As much as they wanted it, they knew that it was better to let people come to them. Don't seem too eager. After all, that was what had gotten them hired, wasn't it? They weren't too eager, but they were enough to be a good employee. They would let people come to them, easier that way.
