Hello! I was thinking, if Eret were to get Eel Pox, how do you think he'd act when he's sick? I know they found and made the medicine, but what if Eret did get sick with it? I think it would be kind of funny...

Honestly, that’s the first word that came to mind and I’m sticking with it. Sure, I like to think Eret affectionate and handsy with people he cares for and trusts, but when he has Eel Pox it’s on a whole other no-boundries level. The cold bothers him more than it ever has and he seeks all sorts of warmth sources.

Consider:

Eret climbing on the back of Meatlug and burrowing into Fishleg’s fur-covered back.

Eret sliding across a Mead Hall bench right into Snotlout’s side and curling up next to him (maybe, pitifully, asking for some food in the process)

Eret nuzzling his head onto Ruffnut’s lap and lets her play with his hair (to which Astrid, feeling worried that Eret might get taken advantage of, shoves herself into that role)

Eret hugging Hiccup. Just coming up behind him and wrapping his giant arms around Hiccup as he’s tweaking a saddle in the forge and muttering into the chief’s floofy-floofy hair that he looks like he needs a hug for stress. And Hiccup has to endure it because there’s no way he’s breaking that muscly lock around his body.

Just a giant, strutting Trapper running around and cuddling up with the people of Berk

Also, Eret gets very, very, very seasick when he has Eel Pox.
