Powers/abilities [if any]:

Sid is a shape shifter. He has a natural form which is all black and scaley, but they are soft scales. He often will change to this form when he's being stealthy in the underworld darkness.

Sid can change into people but must be within touch range of them. If he has touched them he can return to their form indefinitely as long as he practices constantly, and this requires a lot of concentration and time. He has 3 alter forms which he has done this level of practice with and can easily change into.

One is an older bearded gentleman named Eric who looks like Nate's dad (kekekekeke) and he owns a Lamp shop that people rarely shop at. Another is Sid the soldier [who looks like Ivan] and was his form when he was enrolled in the Daedalus Military. His final form is that of a little kid, Jimmy, whom he mostly uses to make himself small in order to make it through crawl spaces and hide easily.

Weaknesses/Flaws [gotta have em]:

He will revert back to his natural form if knocked out. He can be shot and killed like any other person. He can maintain a form for a very long time after he touches someone, but if he has to switch again, it will require touching the source to do so with minimal effort. Without the source it is rarely possible to get the form back. If he changes into someone often enough through touch he no longer needs it, that's how he developed his personas. (No he did not bad touch that kid)

He can't make clothing, he has to wear real clothing, but he can fit into anything if he changes his form.

He CANNOT COPY: scars, plastic surgery or amputations. But for some reason, I'm gonna say magic, he can get hair color, style and facial hair.

His ability makes him good at vocal mimicry as well, since it changes his internal physiology/ vocal cords, and he is pretty decent at faking accents, but slips up sometimes and can often use the wrong social pragmatics. He is pretty terrible at pretending to be a woman and usually tries to go full on sexpot every time.

Personality:

Sid is smooth, flirty and funny. Normally he is very immature but he can turn it off when he needs to. He is very good at controlling moods, and acting most of the time. The nature of his job makes him a bit manipulative, but he's not evil about it. He is more of a trickster archetype than anything else. He does not like to kill people, but he will if he has to because his desire to survive is very strong.

He will not tell people about his ability ever, but has gotten into relationships and built friendships as his other personas. Sometimes he gets a little lonely, but then he steals some rich man's penthouse for a week and bangs a bunch of socialites and that loneliness passes.

Background:

Sid enrolled in the army when he was very young (14), faking his age with the persona of Ivan as part of an espionage plan by a revolutionary group in the underworld. He was there to steal information about what really happened to mutants and criminals that were taken away by the military. He kept a low profile and didn't try to raise himself up in the ranks. The military trained him in many things such as combat and military strategy.

Sid the soldier managed to be in the army for 8 years with only a few close calls of people seeing his true form. There was a problem though. While Sid, himself had grown up from teenage boy into a man in that time, he could not age his persona.

It started to look suspicious and Sid disappeared after the government ordered mandatory genetic testing for all of it's soldiers. He knew he'd get found out, and he knew that his fate would end up being that of a lab rat.

In the Underworld, Sid will work for people to acquire information or items. Basically he's a thief. He does not tell anyone about his ability. The head of the rebel team who had placed him in the army originally was recently murdered in a raid, and she was the only one aware of his shapeshifting.

He has a weird submissive relationship with Sol. She thinks it's because he's a drug addict who wants performance enhancers, but really he just doesn't want to get caught. He knows if in a bind and about to get cornered by the police he can always shift into his soldier form and get away a free man. He has no interest in Sol relationship-wise. He assumes that if she knew about his abilities that she would send his ass to a laboratory to be tortured.
