waking up and being dragged back to bed with sid 🥺
omg brickie i just found this buried in my drafts idk why i never posted it im so sorry
anyways i- enjoy soft boy sid
you could see the sun through your eyelids, peaking through your curtains that were meant to prevent this problem. it woke you with ease, targeting you rather than the man behind you for whatever reason. sidney was usually up before you, but the last few days had been grueling for him, and his morning were beginning to start later than usual.
you turned around to face him, reaching up to fix pieces of his hair despite the fact that you were the only one that knew they were out of place. he looked so serene here in bed under the sun that you didn’t dare wake him. his ability to sleep through small touches and sounds allowed you to press a gentle kiss to his forehead before reluctantly sliding from his grasp.
you made your way downstairs, starting a pot of coffee before letting the dog out into the backyard. you kept an eye on her while she pranced around the yard for a bit before wandering back into the house and leading you straight to your freshly brewed coffee.
you had only taken three sips of your coffee before you heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs. you turned over your shoulder, wearing a soft smile by the time he rounded the corner. his sweats sat low on his hips, torso void of any clothing which didn’t surprise you much.
what did surprise you was when he ignored your greeting and instead walked straight up to you and lifted you off of your feet. your free hand clung to his shoulder quickly as you let out a soft laugh, unsure of where he was going with this.
“i made coffee.” sidney pressed a kiss to your shoulder as a silent thank you and wrapped your legs around his waist.
“back to bed.” he mumbled against your skin, giving you a second to place your mug on the counter before leaving the kitchen and climbing the stairs.
“sid-”
“bed.”
your back hit the mattress, sandwiching you between your bed and your boyfriend who made no attempt to move out of your grasp. your arms were still hooked around his neck and your ankles still locked between his back, but he seemed content enough with it. he pressed his cheek to your chest and let out a deep sigh of content before melting into you.
your fingers made their way into his hair, threading themselves through his locks while scratching gently at his scalp. you were sure that if he relaxed anymore that he’d crush you, but you weren’t sure you’d mind it much.
“do you have anything you have to do today?” it’s soft both in volume and tone, and it makes you smile wider than you ever cared to do so early in the morning.
“spending the day in bed with my handsome boyfriend.” you kissed the top of his head and felt him laugh into you.
“lucky guy.” he turns his head so he can see you, a small smile pulling at his lips in the process.
“i’d say i’m the lucky one.” you whispered softly, leaning forward the slightest bit to catch his lips in a soft kiss.
“so we don’t have to get out of bed?”
“we can stay in bed all day, lover boy.”
