Duckvember Day 15: Rustic Duck

Sid Quack, just wanted to get a few coins by helping the naked and lost duck.

Somehow the conversation ended up with everything the poor duck was afraid of. And that a pig owed him like $14 or something.

Two farm ducks that I didn't expect to draw together. The first one is like a doppelganger of Count Duckula. And the other one is Wade Duck, he appears in the Garfield show.

headcanon: with Sid Quack

Oh boy haha. Sid is definitely an interesting one. On the one hand he was clearly put through a lot so it’s easy to feel bad for the guy. On the other hand, he was pretty quick to turn malicious once given the opportunity so it’s difficult to really have too much sympathy. Especially for someone who took no issue plotting with Igor to go bite necks?? lol. 

Anyway, I definitely think Sid has it in him to revive this wicked streak again if given half the chance. He may not want the same level of over indulgence he received at the Castle again but I could definitely see him going on to carve out his own life through some pretty shady or elicit means. I don’t think he’d be too inclined to return to the farm anyway after having such a nice taste of luxury (and not being beaten) lol.

Count Duckula Headcanon #2 Sid Quack Redemption:

Duckula and goosewing after being married run into sid again but see hes in bad shape. 

Duckula tries to get him to open up, but he refuses. Duckula realizes sid is being abused and tries to get him to leave but refuses

Duckula rescues sid from his caretakers one day after a beating goes bad

Sid has ptsd and has or shows:

Wariness

Sleep problems

Flinches a lot

Wakes up at like 4 am in the morning to work (duckula or igor send him right back to bed)

Hates loud noises and when people yell (even if its not to him)

Is very claustrophobic.

He at first tries to return to the farm but duckula stops him

He is very wary of Nanny and Igor at first

after about a month he becomes a bit calm but still feels unsafe

He gets really bad nightmares and sometimes duckula come in to stay with him until he falls asleep. 

He has very low self esteem and not much confidence since he was told his entire life his opinion or life didn’t matter, but duckula and goosewing help him with this and he becomes more confident. 

Sid discovers he loves to paint and sew as hobbies as ways to help with stress and anxiety. 

Duckula and Goosewing along with igor teach him to read and write and he discovers he love poetry.

Darkwing Oc Month: Day 2 Oc(s) Backstory)

Don Diego: Diego grew up in spain with his father Ricardo La Rose. Diego was well raised but was lonely due to his kind being seen as monster. When his father died things went to hell. He was attacked, persecuted, kidnapped, enslaved and tortured to the point that he believed himself to be useless. That is until he met andy and @psychosistr nega steelbeak

Negaverse Andy: Andy was a young sweet mortal who fell in love with his vampire love. But when they were murdered by a cruel town folks Andy became a vampire and now known as blood Rose. He was bitter for many years. Until he met @psychosistr negasteelbeak,

Matrix: Matrix was a kind and gentle man who was happy to run Negaverse FOWL with his brothers. He believed that to be a powerful group he should know his team’s personally. But that is his downfall when a double agent has the three brothers captured by SHUSH. When they are eventually rescued only a broken Matrix is alive. This changes his mind and he soon goes down a spiral of madness and soon he leaves fowl ( after killing a few shush agents brutally) he now becomes death moth and wants revenge of shush and will use any sadistic means necessary

Sid: Sid was a very young kid when his caretakers sold him off to human traffickers. He was trained to be a servant and be obedient. he was then bought by a cruel rich man named Darren La Glass. He was beaten, starved and trained to work night and day with barely any food. Sid escapee at age 13 and when he pickpocketed a strange rooste, he got a huge surprise. @psychosistr nega steelbeak stopped him from pickpocketing him but also helped Sid out and saw the kid needed help When men were sent to retrieve him. Very slowly sid trusted steelbeak & eventually would be his adopted son. Now 17 Sid is a strong independent duck who’s grateful for getting a second chance.
