Yes I thought midway through writing it that it would be amazing if this was a farce and that Stanley is trying to offer mc up as a bait. Just goes to show you can’t trust anyone
And thank you for the back arrow understanding! Yes mc has to lie with their choices sometimes, that’s the painfully reality of them trying to gain agency, they have to accept that any choice they make is something they’ll have to carry with them. It makes choices heavy, it makes choices count and that will be needed especially for the latter half of this season
