Wabutan immediately bursts into the room, having SOMEHOW gotten past security, sobbing. His wounds show the same purple blood the letter from earlier had splattered on it. "I... it was ME... I was th' one who hurt MZD... he hurt my friend, I couldn't jus' let him get away- an' there was another guy eggin' me on-... GUHAAAAAAAAAA!!!" He collapses onto the ground, bleeding and sobbing. It was about time he fessed up. He just hopes he won't end up tortured or worse. That's not likely though.

As if the letter hadn’t spooked her enough, the sight of a wounded and bleeding gremlin bursting into her room was enough to make the princess scream in distress, alerting several dozens of her bat familiars and a suit of armor…or two…or four to come rushing to her rescue…

It was only after her mind registering Wabutan’s words that she made her defenders stop attacking and then move away from the gremlin. Then again, anyone uninvited that were able to get through the castle’s defenses deserved to be treated with suspicion and caution at the very least.

“…So…It…It was you?” she asked Wabutan, her anger over having MZD hurt in such a brutish manner slowly rising. “You are brave to personally come to my presence, or perhaps you are merely foolish!”

“Now, give me one good reason why I should hear you out and why I should not have you thrown into the dungeons!”
