Uh, whoa, that post you just reblogged from agentadamant is hella spoilery if you hadn't yet heard anything about Clint's rumored family (which I had not). I know not everyone uses the same spoiler tags, but none of my blacklist terms caught that post and I just set up a bunch, so you might want to reconsider adding an 'avengers spoiler' tag or 'aou spoilers' or something. :-/

You’re absolutely right and I’m so sorry. I’d been trying to so hard to tag the AoU stuff with spoiler tags. I’m really sorry missed this one, I know how much it sucks to hear spoilers when you are trying to avoid them. Thank you for drawing my attention to this. I’ve gone back and added the aou spoiler tag to it. Again, really sorry I missed it and spoiled it for you.

I would guess it mostly stems from the opportunity to have a blank-slate!Slytherin to pair Harry with. Pansy and Millicent have enough characterization that you’d have to take it into account when writing them. Not so with Daphne!

Not totally sure which fandoms you're willing to do this for, BUT. (1) Percy Jackson/Nico di Angelo; (2) Dragonriders of Pern AU!

Actually, if you were curious, this is a thing I've already done! It's technically gen, but I definitely wrote it with future Percy/Nico or Percy/Annabeth/Nico in mind! :D :D

As he passes in between the barracks, half-heartedly beating the soot off his riding leathers, he automatically looks for his dragon, because some things you never grow out of. Nacrodoth's on the watchtower, suffering the attentions of an adolescent green, who keeps popping up off the campground to tag him, snorting playfully with every hit she lands on his deep blue hide.

Percy stops, amused -- he recognizes one of Silena's wingriders when he sees her, and sure enough, by the Big House, he spots Nico with Chiron the old Weyrleader, the former red-faced from flight, talking expansively, and the latter kindly.

His path connects with theirs further down the hill, and Nico smiles widely in greeting, an open expression that lasts all of half a second before Percy says with a gesture at the green, "Is she flirting?"

Nico's shoulders hike up, "No!", and he scuttles sideways -- across Camp, the green dragon's head comes up and around in the manner of one who'd just been yelled at very loudly.
