and then ppl were theorizing he wasn’t really dead somehow and this show that loved to do “ripped from the headlines” cases used a case where, in real life, mother was convinced her dead child was actually alive and was CORRECT, but changed the on-show ending so that he was dead the whole time and she was just crazy with grief and needed to give up. like it genuinely felt like getting told to fuck off lol
