In my humble opinion, there's not nearly enough Ron hair discussion that isn't centered around 1979. So, have some incredibly specific Ron hair moments that I adore:
Any time his curls peek out from under a hat, with his hair being a bit longer in recent years. May have aesthetics ranging from 'middle-aged dad' to 'distinguished professor' depending on choice of hat, and both are equally great.
The 1970s sidepart!!! And it happened to be paired with my favourite of Ron's moustaches, the one with the little gap in the middle and often one side being a bit unruly. A winning combination.
The revival of the no-sideburns look during FFS era! It was sooooo slick and elegant during the 70s, and this proved that he can still totally pull it off. Very aesthetically pleasing, the way it forms such a crisp line, the way it seamlessly blends into the hair pushed behind his ear, the way it accentuates the top of his gorgeous cheekbones.
Of course I love Ron's curls as much as the next girl... but also when his hair was shorter in the back, *just* long enough to be able to tell that it wasn't straight, laying all neatly at the nape of his neck... so pretty. (And it seems very nice to run one's hands through, knowing that all the hair product didn't make it as stiff as it looks........)
The super-close-cropped sideburns circa The Sparks Brothers. A similar effect as an undercut, adding a hint of modern edginess to his appearance, which I thought worked incredibly well for him. And I'm pretty sure this was also the longest we've seen his hair since Woofer? Just look at those luscious locks blowing in the wind!
Those couple days in Japan last year when his pencil moustache and his old toothbrush moustache had a very chic baby.
And last but certainly not least, whatever was happening here...
