Boyfriend Satoru whose favorite place to sleep is your lap
People thought Satoru Gojo’s guilty pleasure was just sweet treats or collecting digimon merch, or max to max staying awake until four in the morning because he got too invested in some physics forum argument with strangers online.
Ummm not quite so. You see, his actual guilty pleasure was you.
More specifically, your lap!
It had gotten to the point where people around campus had stopped asking questions. If somebody couldn’t find Satoru after class, they already knew where to look.
Under the old maple tree near the literature building or in the back corner of the library. Sometimes even on the grass outside the engineering block. Literally anywhere you happened to be sitting.
Because if you were there, chances were that the smartest student on campus was currently asleep with his face buried against your stomach.
“You found me,” you’d tease every single time.
“Your pheromones gave you away,” he’d mumble, already closing his eyes.
“I told you to stop saying that ugh.”
“Whatever, scoot over.”
Then he’d press one lazy kiss against your cheek, another against your jaw if he was feeling particularly clingy, mumble something about being exhausted, and before you even got the chance to respond…
He’d flop.
Right into your lap.
Like a bigggg fluffy cat, just like the one your aunt has. The first few months of dating him, you thought it was just because he liked physical affection.
Which was true. Satoru could barely keep his hands off you. He was always stealing kisses in hallways, wrapping an arm around your waist while you walked between lectures, sniffing your hair because they “smelled better than any fragrance on planet,” intertwining your fingers beneath classroom desks, when in reality his shampoo costs ten times more than your drugstore ones.
Pheromones huh?
The PDA was almost embarrassing. But then you realized something. He didn’t actually sleep well. Not properly at least. His eyes were far too sensitive, his brain never really stopped.
There were lectures to top, research papers to finish, exams to ace. His family’s company constantly needed him because apparently being terrifyingly intelligent wasn’t enough. He also had meetings to attend, calls to answer, reports to skim through.
Even when he looked relaxed, you could almost hear the gears turning inside his head.
He’d text you at three in the morning.
Satoru: “You home?”
Y/N: “No, at my other boyfriend’s house”
Satoru: “Wow, what position are you guys in?”
Y/N: “Cuddlefucking actually”
Satoru: “Hahahahhaah not funny”
Y/N: “Why are YOU awake?”
Satoru: “Can I come over? Can’t sleep”
It would usually give you butterflies but most times, it broke your heart a little. Because the only place where his mind ever seemed to quiet down…
Was with you.
“I sleep better when you’re around.”
After that, sleepovers became an unspoken routine. Every other night, sometimes three nights in a row. You’d both pretend to study which would last maybe twenty minutes? Then he’d crawl over without saying a word, hook his arms around your waist, rest his head against your thighs and…
Dead asleep.
Sometimes for twenty minutes, sometimes for an hour. The ridiculous part was how refreshed he’d be afterward. He’d wake up stretching like a cat too.
“I feel incredible.”
People walking past the maple tree barely blinked anymore. They did keep staring at you two though.
Girls who had spent months trying to ask him out would slow down as they walked past. Guys who’d wanted your number would glance over with obvious disappointment.
Even a handful of boys who’d openly flirted with Satoru would sigh dramatically as they watched him sleeping peacefully against you.
Some looked jealous.
Some looked confused.
Most looked like they wanted to know what kind of magic or spell you casted on him. You wanted to tell them that this 6’3 was just clingy.
Sometimes your legs would go numb after thirty minutes, your back would ache, your assignment would remain half finished because every time you tried to shift, he’d instinctively tighten his arms around your waist but you’d rarely wake him up, loved him too much to ever wake him up.
“…Toru.”
“Mhm…”
“My foot can’t feel anything.”
“…Five more minutes.”
“You said that ten minutes ago.”
“Must’ve been your other boyfriend.”
“Woahhh, holy comeback”
You always gave him those extra “5 minutes” The library was somehow even worse.
He’d quietly pull out the chair beside yours, stare at you until you looked up, smile like he’d won the lottery, then slowly lower his head onto your lap beneath the long study table.
“You cannot sleep here Toru”
“I can.”
“You absolutely cannot.”
“I already am.”
“…Satoru.”
Three minutes later…you’d hear his soft snores.“…Unbelievable.”
You’d spend the next half hour pretending to annotate lecture notes while gently nudging his shoulder every few minutes before anyone noticed.
“Toru.”
“…”
“Toru.”
“…”
Then there were rainy days. He’d show up soaked because he’d forgotten an umbrella again.
“You own five umbrellas.”
“I forgot all five.”
You’d sigh, dry his hair with your cardigan because he refused to carry towels like a functioning adult, and five minutes later he’d already be asleep with damp white hair spread across your lap while rain tapped softly against the windows.
Or during movie nights.
Everyone else would be invested in whatever thriller your friends picked, meanwhile Satoru would somehow end up sideways across the couch with his head on your thighs before the opening credits even finished.
“You missed the entire movie.”
“I heard everything.”
“They dropped easter eggs about Luna being the killer in first 15 minutes. ”
“…There was a killer?”
Or during exam season. He’d confidently announce that he was pulling an all nighter.
You’d nod.
An hour later he’d appear outside your dorm carrying three textbooks and a coffee. “I came to study.”
“You came to nap.”
“No, I didn’t” or so he’d lie.
And just the same story with the old setup, ten minutes in and he’d be fast asleep. Sometimes you’d stop reading altogether just to look at him. His eyebrows finally relaxed, his shoulders no longer tense, his breathing slow and even.
For those twenty or thirty minutes, the boy who constantly carried the weight of expectations, perfection, and everyone else’s future looked…
Young, beautiful, kind: Your boyfriend.
Sweet lil Toru
And every single time, without fail, he’d wake up blinking slowly before smiling the sleepiest smile you’d ever seen, and as he’d shuffle against your chest in 15 ish minutes he’d reach for your hand, intertwine your fingers, kiss the back of your knuckles like it was the most natural thing in the world.
i’m not a fan of the show adaptation of the last of us but i think it’s interesting how men particularly were upset by bella ramsay portraying ellie because they don’t consider them to be attractive even though ellie is a minor in season 1 and also a lesbian???
In case this wasn’t clear before, English is not my first language.
From time to time, I sometimes have to use translation tools to translate small portions of my (smut) writing because I need to make sure I’m conveying exactly what I mean. Sometimes I write scenes in my native language because that’s where I can express myself best, and then I translate them into English. That’s the extent of it. Do I sometimes use AI models? Yes, for nuanced localization.
I’m going to address this once because I DO not owe shit to anyone.
I am not against AI as a whole. You cannot expect the entire world to live by your personal beliefs or boycott every piece of technology you disagree with. That’s simply not how reality works.
I’m not in support of AI to write stories or create art. I’m talking about AI as a tool in general. Whether we like it or not, many industries require it now.
For example, I work at a large marketing firm in California, and using AI is part of our daily workflow. We’re expected to use it to work more efficiently and stay competitive. If we refuse to adapt, we get REPLACED. Not everyone has the privilege of opting out of technology and facing no consequences.
If you have an issue with AI, direct that frustration toward the companies and decision-makers developing and implementing it not random people trying to make a living.
If you’re going to send anonymous messages making accusations about me without knowing anything about my process, that’s on you, not me.
If you don’t like my writing, block me. Mass report me if you want. I genuinely do not care. I’m not here in greed for followers or money, I have other platforms to focus on where I already make a living from.
I don’t make money from my fanfiction. I don’t take commissions. Every time someone has asked me to write for money, I’ve declined and taken it as request. Everything I write is free because I do this out of love, not for profit. Even when I posted a while back that I need to be more strong financially I said that I’ll have to work extra hard on my side hustle aka my business when I could’ve just taken up work here. I sometimes take MONTHS to finish a chapter and it angers me how some lowlifes can go ahead to ruin my entire day based on their pea sized brain knowledge.
If my “followers” genuinely want clarification, I would be more than happy to show them my writing process. I have thousands of handwritten pages (I prefer to write down my thoughts, first), phone notes, google drafts with timestamps, and I have also posted screenshots of my fics that I work on time to time over here, clearly showing how my stories are developed from start to finish.
If you’ve actually read any of my work, it’s obvious it was written by a person. I make mistakes. I miss things during editing because I’m not a perfect beta reader.
I don’t owe anyone proof of my creativity, but I also won’t sit quietly while people spread baseless accusations.
I spend countless hours creating these stories, and before they’re for anyone else, they’re for me. This platform is how I unwind and share something I genuinely love.
If you have a problem with what I write, you’re free to leave. Nobody is forcing you to read my work.
What I won’t tolerate are false accusations without doing the bare minimum of actually reading my stories. I need tools to translate, not to write ( which you would know if you ever read anything of mine lol.)
If your goal is to make this space toxic for me, then do us both a favor and leave my page alone because you certainly can’t continue to call me “pussy, hoe, delete your page” in dm’s and anon asks just because you’re a jealous coward behind a screen and you can’t stop jerking off to my username. You can not get to me, you can try to blackmail me all you want, I’m not a 17 year old that you can scare away with high school level threats.
Here are the tools I use to sometimes translate my work:
Google Translate
Blueent
DeepL
Localise
Claude
Lastly, get a job
This post is only and only for my followers and anyone who has a problem with me can respectively fuck off.
Edit: 6th July 2026
I’ve realised that although my take on AI is something I stand strong with, and none of my followers have said anything against this post so far, I’ll stop using the ai tools for my writing over here, as new people will eventually join me and this post would get lost and I want to be fair and clear with them, from here on if I have to use a tool for any sort of translation, I’ll use the regular softwares, I know they sometimes might not be accurate with the localization but I’d work extra hard on those bits, share them with a fellow writer for help or simply emit those bits out.
Satoru and reader in Heaven Forbid are pissing me off so much. I get that Satoru has been yearning for years and wants to move on, but god damn, that doesn't justify knowingly stringing along Utahime. What is his game plan there? To stay in an unfulfilling relationship and constantly neglect her in favor of reader?? Reader is honestly even worse, though. Blocking him as a test to see if he will run to her? I get that he fell in love with her at 13, but acting like one isn't winning her any favors. The same goes for going on a date with Sukuna when she only really kissed him to get a reaction out of Satoru and treating poor Utahmie so poorly.
Ugh, anyways, I'm submitting this as an ask instead of a comment because I wanted to say that Satoru's previous mental state reminds me of "All I Really Want is You by the Marias. His current mental state reminds me of the song "Back to Me" by The Marias (and I guess reader's, but she's pissing me off too much to associate her with such a beautiful song right now).
Hi! Thank you so much for sending this and yeah, I totally get you being frustrated with Satoru and the reader is kinda the point. They’re both emotionally constipated and absolute idiots.
As for Gojo’s game plan with Utahime… you’ll find out in the upcoming chapter. 🤭 He did initially start dating her to get over the reader, though…
I agree, she’s the worst. 😭 But she’s also anxious, jealous, and overwhelmed, and she doesn’t know how to deal with any of it, so it all comes out as anger.
Also, you caught that she kissed Sukuna to get a reaction out of Satoru… so why do you think she’s with him now….
And yay!! I love both the songs so much. I love The Marías, and Sienna’s name is actually inspired by their song “Sienna” from Submarine.
I hope the next chapter answers your questions! Thank you again, and I hope you’re having a lovely day/night. 🫶
I’m gonna be so honest, I hate the idea of anyone using generative ai to assist in writing as it directly steals from authors, however, I dislike much more strongly those who accept money for fanfiction as that is directly illegal and also, stealing from authors. It’s become much more common on tumblr and I really admire that you don’t despite being asked.
Okay, so I’ll be completely honest here. Not that I’m ever dishonest, but I just want to make my stance very clear.
Do I support AI when it comes to making art, writing, or other forms of creative work? Absolutely not. I don’t support plagiarism, stealing people’s work, or replacing human creativity. Even if somebody uses AI to write, you can try it yourself, it’s incredibly generic, repetitive, boring, one worded and IS ROBOTIC not enjoyable to read. That’s because it’s not a replacement for genuine creativity.
I also feel very strongly about people copying or plagiarizing content because I’ve experienced it myself. My 30 Days fic was copied by multiple people without credit, and I have many AO3 writer friends who’ve gone through similar things. So yes, I understand why creators are protective of their work.
However, I do support AI as a tool.
Why? Because I’m being realistic.
We all come from different countries, different industries, and different circumstances. The way my country and my workplace have integrated AI is not necessarily the same as yours. You don’t know what position someone else is in.
I work in marketing and social media in, that’s literally my profession. I’m active across more than ten social media platforms because it’s part of my job, and I’m constantly talking to people from different countries and industries. The reality is that many companies now expect employees to use AI to work faster and more efficiently. If you refuse to adapt, someone else will.
I don’t think using AI to improve productivity, organize work, summarize information, or even translate something you’ve already written is wrong. I use translation tools, softwares etc, and sometimes I write idioms and phrases in my native language first so I can express myself better.
The people using these tools to make ends meet are not the real problem. The bigger conversations should be directed at the companies and developers building these systems, not ordinary employees who are simply trying to keep their jobs.
As for fanfiction, my personal opinion has always been the same. I’ve had people ask me to take commissions many times, and I’ve always said no. I have a full-time job, a part-time business, cats to take care of, and very little free time. I know I wouldn’t be able to do commissioned work justice as of now and I want everyone to enjoy my work (if they do).
Personally, I believe fanfiction should remain free unless you’re writing original characters or original stories. That said, I also understand that everyone’s circumstances are different. If someone is genuinely trying to make ends meet through their writing and that’s all their good at the moment. I’m not going to sit here and judge them. That’s their decision, and it’s a nuanced conversation.
At the end of the day, writing is creative work. It takes time, effort, imagination, and dedication just like creating art does. That’s one of the reasons I’ve been so frustrated by everything that’s happened recently. I think people need to be kinder to creators instead of jumping to conclusions or making accusations without understanding their process.
I know I yapped a lot today but I hope this explains my perspective a little better.
And thank you so much for your message. I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to ask instead of assuming. I hope you have a wonderful day!
In celebration of crossing 3k here (we’re close to 3.5k now yay) I wanted to do an Escort Reader x Toji oneshot but it’s been of week of me writing it and I got a feeling that I might do 2-3 parts for it.
What would y’all prefer
One shot with a heavy word count
2/3 part story
Voting ended onJul 10
I’m super excited to share it with you guys, I might be my most favourite fic I’ve everrrr written and yes it’s angst and sad but the ending is really beautiful.
