Self-destruction is a funny thing. Sierra knew all bout this. There are several types of self destruction. You've got the physical way of self destruction; loving it when someone stabs you, simply for the feeling of being ruined by someone else. Not giving a fuck if your burning cigarette touches your skin, because nothing could burn more than the loss of your parents. Adoring the adrenaline kick when you almost 'accidentally' drop yourself off a building; because who doesn't want to fly? Eventually, your body gets used to it. Nothing hurts - it does, but you don't mind the pain anymore. That's when you need another way of self destruction. Being ruined by someone else isn't good enough - you need to be ruined by yourself, as well. That's why you've got the mental one; talking to yourself until you've gone nuts, telling yourself lies you'll eventually start believing in, making sure you loathe yourself for every single action you do. Until there's nothing left in your mind to destroy. When your body is unable to be harmed and your mind is hardly there, you need to find a different way; it kills both your body as your mind, and that's drugs and alcohol.
Bullets. Another way of destruction, but she didn't choose to catch this bullet. There was one promise Sierra had made herself; no matter how she rocked the job of destroying herself, her self destruction would not kill her. There was no way in hell she'd take her own life; because that would be quitting, and she was no quitter, because quitting was weak, and she wasn't weak.
She remembered there was blood. A lot of it. But that was all she really remembered, ever since drugs did this funny thing of making you forget about a lot of things. Blood was one of them – she realized there was blood, but she at the same time was most likely to forget it. That’s what she always did when she felt pain; block it, forget it, destroy it. It really was easy and one of the reasons she was still alive. She just needed focus and that was why she walked; making sure her legs were still capable of bringing her someplace else, and giving her mind the focus to block out the pain. She didn’t care where it brought her – that’s where drugs got involved; she didn’t realize, remember or saw a thing. The only thing she had in mind was not passing out because passing out was dying – and she wouldn’t die without a fight.

Evan & Sierra | Studio stories.
Brendon Benson was a successful producer and musician from Nashville. The upcoming months Brendon would help out a band from Tempe with recording their newest record. Seeing the fact Sierra was still learning it all but was a massive talent - as Brendon told her - and she was good friends with Brendon, he had asked her to come over and help him out with this band. Not because they were that hopeless - basically the opposite of that - but simply because Brendon knew Sierra and her type of music, and that one was a perfect combination with this band.
It was the second week of the producing process. Brendon had told you guys there was someone coming over to help out, 'a friend' but surely had not mentioned it was a girl and hearing stories of this person you all probably assumed that she was a guy - but she wasn't. Three knocks on the door announced her arrival - and Brendon opened up. With a bright smile she hugged him, tugging some suitcase along with her into the apartment before she peeked up to the band who stood in front of her. "Oh wauw, you're a girl!" Some tiny guy with long hair said - whereon she softly laughed, shaking her head a bit. "No, I'm definitely a guy. Brendon what did you all tell them?" She said, whereon he laughed too and just shook his head. "Guys, Sierra, Sierra, guys." He said, whereon she pulled a face - not knowing any names. "Well guys, nice to meet you."
