hey i have come with question a while ago i was nesting for like a stam and stam regen paru because i wanted stam anyway i got a bite weight paru first nest (i am scared). mutations with that seemed to go for a lot on traderie (near miju price) and traits are bound to slots but do i need to some how gamble and nest a slot with traits and muts or can i just grow and die unil i get glowtail and something (words of the bitch to lazy to search this)

since traits are free to keep forever and permanently bound to a slot (and cannot be rerolled, and even if you have an empty trait slot, you can NEVER fill that if you passed the age for it without it), for age mutations like glowtail, shadow, glimmer (everyone just uses glimmer tokens for glimmer though. way easier), and any plushie muts (if you have said plushie equipped), you can get the traits you want and then repeatedly grow and kill the slot for the mut. but for birth muts like overgrown, diamond, shimmer, etc, you have to get absurdly lucky and get both the traits AND the mut on one slot.

i assume you're planning on specifically gt/shadow hunting though, and in that case, grab yourself an octro plushie if you dont already own one, toss it on your slot, and grow it to age 67 (adult) before killing it repeatedly. since paru is an omni with breath it should hopefully be a pretty easy hunt? eat berries for sat (equip a springram if you have one. i think the sat effect might last your Whole life with it. unless you have an aerix, then do that instead), then when you hit adult hold heal beam until you die, repeat. good luck in your hunting :3
