Havana, Cuba. What a gorgeous place. We walked a lot but we also took many taxis because of the 37+ temperatures. Also because there were so many fun looking rides. On our first day we were so tired we just payed what they told us, 10CUC, no matter the distance. But, It didn't take us long to realize that for short distances 3-5CUC was the going rate. Ah well, you explore, live and learn. Also note - The cab drivers pretend to have no change. They all seem to have the exact same empty wallet carrying only one single 5CUC bill. So establish your agreed price before you take the cab and carry change, which is very, very hard to come by in Cuba no matter where you are buying things. So when exchanging your money at the airport, take those small bills they are trying to give you.
