Bowood House

Bowood House is located in the county of Wiltshire in Calne, England. The Georgian country house was built around 1725 on the site of an earlier medieval hunting lodge. The 1stEarl of Shelburne purchased the estate in 1754. Under Shelburne, the house was redesigned and expanded with a new service wing and a portico entrance. In 1761, the 2ndEarl of Shelburne, Robert Adams decorated the rooms and added the orangery and a mausoleum for the 1stearl. The orangery was intended as a conservatory but now serves as the estate’s primary art gallery. The one hundred acre estate boasts an elaborate landscape with cascades, a grotto, a hermits cave, a clock tower, an arboretum, a lake, a pinetum, a terraced garden, a rock garden, a Doric temple, a picnic area, the Rhododendron Walk that covers 60 acres, and an adventure play area for kids that includes a full-size pirate ship. The interior of Bowood House includes a small ornate family chapel, a library, a sculpture gallery, and more. Bowood House hosts a range of private functions. The estate has two restaurants, one near the house and one near the entrance of the gardens, there’s also an ice cream kiosk near the playground. The estate includes the luxury boutique-style Bowood Hotel, Spa, and Golf Resort.

Anse Source d’Argent is an iconic beach located in Seychelles, off East Africa. Anse Source d’Argent is one of the largest granitic islands of Seychelles, which stretches along the Indian Ocean coast. Seychelles is made up of 115 islands, La Digue, where the beach is located, is the third most populated island of Seychelles. The water is crystal clear and the white sand beach has huge granite boulders that form coves and caves. Admission to the beach is required.

Angel Oak

Angel Oak is located on John’s Island near Charleston, South Carolina in the United States. The barrier island is separated from the mainland by an intracoastal waterway that is accessible by car. The 400-500 year old oak tree can be found in Angel Oak Park. The tree’s age is often debated with some claiming the tree as old as 1500 years.
