I was really down on Sigma L when I payed for it (the price is still a lliiiittle high) but it came in today and it's actually pretty freaking nice. The transformation is a little simple but the plastic quality somehow seems even nicer than the last release, especially the delicious thick bat wings. They feel like they're straight from my childhood with the hard solid plastic. UNF. The whole toy feels very weighty and the robot mode is actually bigger than the last three, much more in scale with a Voyager sized toy. The headmaster robot is one of the best to date and just in general this really feels like something that would be sold in a toy store.

Ugh, why did I not cancel that Fansproject Sigma L? Even with "it's a third party figure that's better than Hasbro", $94 (with shipping and taxes) for a deluxe sized transformer is a little much. Especially an animal transformer with a not so complex transformation.
