here, have a 200-300 word deleted segment from the end of sigma pi, which i cut because it didn’t make the drabble’s ending feel like an ending (but i thought it was cute enough 2 b worth sharing):

"Thomas!" He'd have been concerned with how panicked you seemed if he couldn't hear the giggle hardly suppressed in your voice. "What are you doing?"

"What's wrong, sweetheart?" he laughed, and you could feel the palm of his hand slowly creeping up your thigh as he reached the stairs. "Didn't you say you were lookin' to get outta here?"

"This isn't exactly what I had in mind, though."

"Aw, c'mon, I'm just tryin' to accommodate." You could hardly see where you were going, what with your top half being slung over his shoulder, but you could feel it when his footsteps reached the landing atop the stairs, and he turned immediately toward the hallway on the right.

"Put me down!" you whined, shoving at his shoulder and wriggling in his hold, and though you couldn't see it, his grin was growing at your feeble efforts.

"Have some patience; we're almost there." You let out a squeak when he pinched the back of your thigh.

"Thomas!"

"You asked me to show you the way up!" he defended as he carried you through the doorway to what you could only assume was his room. He tossed you down onto his bed unceremoniously, and you bounced lightly when your back hit the mattress. Something predatory flashed in his gaze when he saw your wide-eyed stare. "And I know I wasn't wrong in thinkin' you were lookin' for someplace with a bit more privacy."
