Not sure if @slowsi remembers this? In 1985 I bought a Nikon FE2 and a Sigma fisheye (because it was cheaper than a Nikkor fisheye). I took the new rig out on its maiden voyage to Jamie Prescott’s Ramp (#1) and laid down on the deck and started shooting Losi. A few shots in, Allen bailed his board and it clocked me in the camera body which was pushed into my brow. Someone caught me from falling off the back of the tiny deck, it might have been Billy Ruff or Aaron Astorga or maybe it was Prescott, It was all a blur. Well, the brand new Nikon was toast and I replaced it with the Nikon FM2 which was a better camera and which became my trusted tool for the next few years and I believe to be one of the best cameras ever made for skateboarding. This is one of the first and last photos shot with my first and only Nikon FE2. Not sure if my recollection of the event is accurate, it was all a bit fuzzy.
