🤡✨ for the writer asks!
🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?
in my yet unfinished nedconte there's a really grim AWFUL scene where ned and dundy go to ned's neighbor's funeral and the neighbor's wife freaks out bc she doesn't know if she put coins on her husband's eyes or not (important so he can get into heaven). so they raise the casket for her but it falls and she climbs in after it, but not before the cloth on the husband's face falls off (it was covered bc he died bc the ac in his apartment fell on him. i find this also extremely funny.). it's really fucked up and terrible. then there's a HUGE commotion afterwards trying to find a coin, but the right kind of coin, and everyone's discussing it, and only a beggar can provide the right coin, but they feel bad taking from a beggar bc the husband had a saint's name so you have to give to charity and here they are taking from charity. it's a whole mess. idk why i find it so funny but i do. something about it being so awful and just so. i don't know. couldn't tell you. then dundy proceeds to have a war flashback coz of it hahaha. yeah. good stuff
✨ Give you and your writing a compliment. Go on now. You know you deserve it. 😉
this is so hard again!!! but i think i got one this time and it's i really really like how none of my relationships that i write are mainstream. they're all some weird flavor of codependency. all some sort of really aro/ace type of situation going on. i really like the way i portray relationships bc they feel comfortable for me and as a result really hit a lot harder than if they weren't as weird and out of sorts. we don't know what it is but we make it work type of thing
