important note: The Pizzeria as described in the fic has a second floor (containing at least the Manager's office, the rest could be an employee lounge, changing room, arcade, or whatever you want), because this game needs some floor space to play. It's... not in FNAF1, exactly, but I think it's been basically established that the cameras are there for the guard to watch over the animatronics, and not the building itself so I figured there might be more places in the pizzeria than those covered by the camera views. I know it's weak when I was trying to stick to 'canon' as much as possible, but eh...
1) Bonnie walks fast(er than David) but can't open doors.
2) Chica walks slow(er than David) but can open doors.
3) Freddy is required to laugh *while* he moves. Freddy can move very quickly unseen and unheard (which is why his laugh is required, and yes this appears to be teleporting). If he has just moved, and David shines a flashlight on him within the next one/two/whatever-you-want minutes, he is banished to the cove for the next half hour/whatever-you-want.
4) Foxy is a wildcard. He can run and open doors, but stays in his cove watching and listening to everyone on the cameras (special ability). Out of his own volition, or whenever Freddy telegraphs him for it, Foxy will sing his pirate song (the one from the game). When he does, David has exactly three/five/whatever-you-want minutes to sing it back, forcing him to reveal his position to Chica, Bonnie and Freddy by sound. If he misses the deadline, Foxy immediately runs to tag him. If David successfully sings back three/four/whatever-you-want times, Foxy switches teams and David can now order him to tag one of the other animatronics. A tagged animatronic is confined to the Cove for the next half hour/whatever-you-want.
5) Win conditions. Bonnie, Chica and Foxy win if they tag David. Freddy wins if David enters a room he's in (he doesn’t need to tag). David wins if he makes it to 3AM/4AM/whatever-you-want-but-make-sure-they-have-time-left-to-do-stuff-afterwards or if he can get onto the show stage stage while it's uncontested. If he gets onstage and Bonnie, Chica or Freddy is there (Foxy stays at the cove), David loses. The winner gets to decide what they do for the remainder of the night!
6) Playing the game for animatronics. Freddy of course needs to coordinate everyone. If there's a danger that David might get on stage, he needs to have someone there to contest it. He also doesn't simply chase David since he has to laugh while moving, which would alert David and get him sent to the Cove if a flashlight shines on him. Bonnie is usually faster than David, but has to watch out whenever he enters an open room because if the doors close (sneaky David!) he has to wait for Chica or Freddy to come open it for him. Chica is too slow to chase, so she usually stays in corners or right behind doors in ambush (adorable hugging ambush, of course). Foxy... well Foxy does what he wants (cause a pirate is free, you are a pirate~). He can choose to play helpful toward David by only singing when the others are very far away from him with very little chance of getting caught if he sings back immediately, or stress David out by singing when Freddy and co. are nearby. But even without playing the game himself, Foxy finds it exciting and funny to see how everything unfolds.
7) Playing the game for David. First off, David sets up water bottles around the pizzeria before the game starts for when he gets thirsty. The game itself is a mix of memory, sound, and stealth for the guard. David has to remember which part of the pizzeria Freddy's in to avoid going into the same room as him. He has to listen for Chica's and Bonnie's footsteps and identify which of the two is coming by their gait, because avoiding them calls for different approaches (Chica can't catch him if he continues walking away but Bonnie can, and Bonnie can't catch him if he enters a room and closes the door but Chica can). The reason Bonnie is usually faster than David is because David has to avoid the parts of the floors that creak and make sounds when he steps on them. Sneaking slows him down, but makes sure Bonnie, Chica and Freddy don't know where he is (they're also listening for him). If David runs (noisily), Freddy can easily coordinate the others to box him in especially when he eventually tires out, so he usually saves it for when he's desperate or the clock is almost up. Do you remember the walkmans David had back in chapter 1? He uses those to play sounds of creaking floors/closing doors/running to distract Bonnie, Chica and Freddy. He'll go for the stage if he can do so without getting tagged and if it's uncontested. Also, every now-and-then if David plays too well or if the others are having trouble catching him, he'll whistle an all-too-familiar Toreador tune to taunt them...
