now that the two of them were finally alone, silas pulled out his seat back a bit and turned his full body to face andy. he had just finished signing all of the paperwork. for the time being, the younger man was going to be his. a debt finally paid off by his father. "you can make yourself at home. you were here for the conversation, you won't be going back for a while." if ever. silas often times fell hard for pretty men. so if he wanted, maybe he would charge the man's father some interest. "did you offer yourself up or was this his idea entirely?"

Kingsley was a man on a mission — several missions, in fact. Conclave being in town was always reason for political scheming, and even if he never had such aspirations for himself, he could still nudge things here and there for his beloved clan. On a more personal note, however, his goal was to prove to his guest that there was beauty in his community; that he could feel safe, and have a wonderful night among the undead and the wolves. He makes sure to introduce Silas to all the important people in the room, from the witch lords of Scandinavia to the vampire artists of the Kanoute clan, always with a smile on his face, always playing the perfect guest ...and always making sure to avoid the designated feeding places, at least for the time being. When they finally had a moment just for the two of them, Kingsley turned to Silas, "So, be honest, what do you think of my people so far?" ok help me come up with some lore for a character I'm making, he's a ghost so I need to figure out how exactly he died. it's a supernatural country western setting, so I had the idea that he would've died in 1816, the year without a summer. the whole thing is what inspired frankenstein, so I thought he could maybe be like a weird scientist, doing creepy corpse experiments and shit. idk how dark I want to go.

so basically he was a "doctor" in new england, when the weather went bad he started heading west, met a guy at a bar who he uhh ahem wink wink and then they started traveling together. and then my idea is that maybe he just fucks him over by like stealing his supplies and leaving and he freezes/starves to death, but is that boring? should I make it more gruesome? like maybe they have to hunker down in a cave and start going crazy bc of hunger and fight and my character gets killed and eaten by the guy, continued wandering west as a ghost trying to find him, becomes obsessed with like. flesh and bodies, does a bunch of weird gross corpse research? is this anything?

Silas had been walking around time, schmoozing, as one did when one had recently been named Interim Mayor. He should’ve been worried about Mayor Sandoval, about her well being, but he’d quickly found that he quite enjoyed being referred to as Mayor Ward. So much so that he wasn’t in any rush to see the old mayor returned to town. Though he did hope that she was at least safe. His candidacy could benefit from a touch of mystery, but scandal? Scandal could make or break a person’s entire career. Silas knew that from personal experience. Shaking himself from the direction his thoughts had taken, Silas caught the gaze of a nearby person, a charming smile spreading across his face. “You wouldn’t happen to want to grab coffee with me, would you? My treat.”
