“Oh God, please don’t tell anyone you had to carry me home..” Lily pleaded when she woke up, seeing that Sturgis was already awake. Or tell them anything else for that matter, but she wouldn’t say that out loud. She laid there for a while, not really feeling up for moving yet. “I promise I’m not usually such a mess...” She added with a dry laugh.

“Nope. Not happening,” Lily said sternly, shaking her head in disbelief. She didn’t think she was that far gone.. nor did she think Silas was. Clearly, mistakes were made for them to end up like this. She jumped out of bed and threw on her robe to cover herself more, grabbing the boy’s shirt from the floor and throwing it at him. “Out. Now. I mean it. And remember, as bad as this looks for me, it looks a lot worse for you.”

“Hey,” Lily hummed sleepily, turning over to face James and snuggling her head against his chest. As strange as it felt, getting used to sleeping next to someone rather than alone, she liked it. It was comforting to have his arms wrapped over her, feeling his warm breath against her hair. “You don’t have to go, do you? You can stay a little while?”

“You shouldn’t have stayed..” Lily told him flat out as Evan woke up and walked dazedly into the kitchen, and she slid him a cup of tea as she drank her own. And here Lily thought she was all out of surprises when it came to a Rosier, but of course he proven her wrong again. She’d found him outside the pub after closing and let out her frustrations rather vocally, though none of it was specifically directed at him.. and promptly nearly broken her ankle falling off the curb. Not her proudest moment, but she could’ve made it home on her own. She definitely should’ve.
