Why are REAL Silat Kris Swords wobbly in the handle ? Every antique Kris sword I have ever owned, or seen, always had a wobbly blade in the handle, unless somebody glued it. The kris was made with a very small Tang to stab an opponent, and break off the handle. As you can see on the blade, if a person were to be stabbed with it (and the handle were missing), they would have to grab onto the blade itself and cut themselves as they remove the blade. Take note: the charades and the contour of the blade where your hand would have to be to pull it out, cutting and slicing as you or someone else attempts to remove, very very messy.
