A lot of you already know me but it's been a while since I've posted so I thought I'd reintroduce myself.

Hello everyone calls me Echo but my name is Rune. I am a transman and use he/him but you'll see she/her used in several of my older posts.

I've been self shipping since before I even knew there was a word for it and I've had this blog open for a few years now where I will randomly post about my f/os and I also listen to others gush about theirs.

I have my f/o list pinned to the top of my blog and as it says I don't mind sharing f/os so if we share a character feel free to drop by and talk about them.

Some important tags I frequently use

Silence Echo, a tag that is mainly used for normal posts where I just speak my mind

Echo Original, used for my original self ship content from one-shots, to f/o takeovers, to random self ship ask posts that I've created. If you want to see all of my original content this is the best way to do it though be warned it includes characters that I no longer consider f/os.

Just a little note if you send me pictures or tell me about your f/o and I only respond 'cool' or something similar know that I'm not invalidating your ships or not interested at all I just have trouble finding the right words to say (especially when faced with f/os I don't know) or I could be doing something else but don't want to leave you basically on read while I finish it.

Also I'm perfectly fine if I tell you about my f/os and all you can say it 'cool' because I fully understand not having the spoons needed to come up with some massive praise for my silly ships when all I really want is just simple acknowledgement that it was recieved and not terrible lol

I just started watching the Moomins (1990) and I love this show so much it fills me with so many good vibes! I adore all the characters in it and how they interact with each other and the world and I've already got a self insert in mind for it (she'll also get to smooch on Snufkin cause he's a good crime boy)

Back when I was younger I got called stupid because I was loading the dishwasher and making a game of it where I would try and drop the silverware into the basket from the top rack. The game was pointless and extended the time it took me to actually do my chore but it was something fun to distract me from how boring my life was and it didn’t hurt anyone around me. The same can be said about Self Shipping.

While it might be pointless to fantasize about a fictional character it is still an easy distraction from real life and it doesn’t hurt others in doing it.

As long as you’re doing something fun that makes you enjoy your life a little more then go for it and let no one call you stupid or stand in your way, if they try ask them if they’ve ever done anything pointless in their lives and if they say know tell them they’re a liar because we’ve all been children and children do pointless things for fun all the time.
