It certainly wasn’t hard to find the monster that had triggered the call to Fate. Honestly it seemed to have little care for subtly, charging haphazardly through the streets and smashing into every building caught in its turns. Perhaps the lack of balance was the only thing keeping the people in its wake from becoming snacks in its snapping jaws.

By the time Seline spotted it stumbling into the park, its form had settled into some sort of feline, silhouette gracefully sleek and simultaneously powerful. Pitch black abyss and bright white light evenly marbled its being, warring with each other in ever-shifting stripes across its form. A blindingly white eye was turned to her, its twin missing from its socket. Judging by the darkness oozing from it, it seemed like it had recently gotten into a tussle...

Something above its brow winked with the light catching it, but there was little time to observe before the monster bellowed a loud roar. It was in pain... it was pissed off... And it was still hungry.

Garrus had been showing up to Yu’s place a bit less, but he was still showing up. This time with quite a lot of food for the kids-- who weren’t home, it looked like.

“Hope I’m not interrupting anything.”

He remembers this woman; he spooked her on the roof once by accident. He’s careful not to make his wave of recognition too sudden this time when he spots her again.

Hit the Fan

Devil had been moved to a side room of the medical wing, both on the request of Skydancer and N, who were between the recovery of Doctor Morgan and the mercenary himself.

It wasn’t long before a new presence entered the room, practically raising the temperature with his presence. He’d come in the moment he had gotten the call; despite the hour, and his frustration.

Seeing the Devil collapsed in a chair was enough to raise the temperature a touch more.

“Can somebody please tell me what is going on?”

It had been a few days since the talk with Phoenix (and it had gone well! Seline saw that), but the next time she saw him, he was deflated once more. This time he was in the lobby, slumped forward in the couch with his elbows on his knees.

Eneko already didn’t like it here. He kept his mouth shut as Seline did most of the talking to the guards, doing his best not to fidget. Eneko had wanted to find Russo first, but the dragoness had made a point that seeing Devil would probably be wiser. It was his bunker after all, and it’d be his rules.

With a steadying breath, he stuck close to her side, following along as they were escorted in. Hopefully having his lover there would help their case.
