Nachtmystium -- Borrowed Hope and Broken Dreams
Nachtmystium "The Lepers of Destitution" from the "Silencing Machine" album.
They are one of my favorite black metal bands because they never give a shit about what anyone thinks. They play their own brand of the black metal and I love every sec of it. It's more psychedelic influenced and the production of their guitar riffs are amazing as well.
nachtmystium - i wait in hell
pretty much this whole album is fantastic
The Lepers Of Destitution from Nachtmystium's Silencing Machine.
Nachtmystium - Silencing Machine
With Silencing Machine, we find Nachtmystium taking what they have learned during the experimental Black Meddle-ing days and applied it to the already psychedelic filth that we all loved so much from Demise and Instinct:Decay. Gone are the clean tons of those Meddle-ing albums, discarded in favor of the dirt and gristle we oh, so love. And in my humble opinion, they have benefited greatly from it. I also feel they have benefited from their brief departure into the experimental waters because Silencing Machine is the perfect marriage between the two sides of Nachtmystium. I feel that they have finally achieved the sound that they have been searching for since the beginning. A true mix of black metal and pure psychedelia. A true match made in hell. ftdb
One of 2012's best records. Nachtmystium's last couple of albums emphasized psychedelic influence, but this album is basically an amalgamation of their many textures in their discography and combines it with insanely catchy songwriting, like this song.
