2nd update announcement

Hi everyone.

After some thinking, i've decided that once i have finished with college exams for the time being, i will continue to work on Silent Face: SANH and uploading updates to AO3.

This decision comes as a result of some rational thinking: 1. Sadly it's an objective fact that unless i hit some kind of algorythm lottery the fanfic will gain no traction. Although i care not for fame, i want an audience and i want feedback. I can't get that if i have to rely on the cog of social media to spin. 2. I do not financially support or donate to AO3. I already am and have been boycotting. By refusing to use the website i'm really not contributing to boycott what so ever, because that isn't how AO3 works. 3. I am painfully aware of at least 2-3 people who have no access to Tumblr, where i primarily aimed to move the fanfic to. These people have given me praise and feedback on the things i have made, and i do not want to leave them behind.

Updates will resume early to mid-february. Thank you for your patience. Love you guys.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT AND THE FUTURE OF THE SILENT FACE AU

Hi everyone, Sal here.

Recently, a series of events unfolded on AO3 that i was made aware of. Certain volunteers and the benefactor company, OTW, have acted against other volunteers in a manner i cannot condone and over topics that should have a unanimous agreement behind them.

Due to this complication of the AO3 Administration and general distaste that's been left in my mouth - i have made the exectuive decision to move the "Silence at Nockfell High" story onto this Tumblr for the forseeable future.

Until AO3 cleans up their administration and ceases to act on political biases, i will remain on here and will finish the story on Tumblr.

I will begin posting all of the pre-existing chapters rapid fire, one after another within the following 2 weeks on here as i have multiple backup files of the fic saved. After everything has successfuly moved to here - all activity on AO3 will cease for the forseeable future and the fic will continue with the "Nockfell Mall" Arc as the next story sequence.

I apologize if this is an inconvenience or that it seems sudden due to my radio silence - it is midterms season and this AO3 fuckup is fresh so i had to take emergency action.

Hello readers - or what's left of you.

Good news - i'll be back to working on my fic this month. Happy pride lmao. After the Mall Arc releases i will be doing a major revision of the fic - as the way the story flows and is written doesn't sit as well with me anymore. A lot of it was based on my previous relationship that i'm unpacking the effects of still.

Slight update.

Hi. Sal here. Some news.

Fanfic is still on hold. I have a lot of college responsibilities. To anyone following i apologize for the drought i've had a lot on my plate, both in my peronal life with health problems (both mine and other people's) and just a truckload of college assignments.

Secondly i wanna thank my mutuals for holding out on me <3 means a lot that i have people still here.

That's all. Once i'm clear of responsibilities i plan to pick Silent Face back up and finally work on the Nockfell Mall Arc.
